Chatting with Aliyah Boston as Fever resume play post All-Star break
The Fever resume action tonight.
Hello all. Between working on a long feature, travel, and WNBA All-Star weekend I am falling behind on stories here. My apologies!
I am also going to miss the next three Fever games, all a part of a road trip, due to previous engagements. Stories will resume just before Fever vs Aces on August 6.
In the meantime, allow me to link the aforementioned feature – a longer one on Aliyah Boston. I chatted with Boston, her parents, several current and former Fever players, and other key members of Boston's life for the piece. I think it turned out great and the feedback has been awesome.

And at the tail end of the weekend's proceedings, I asked Caitlin Clark about going against Kelsey Mitchell in the All-Star game. I got a pretty good chuckle out of Clark throwing the ball off of Mitchell in the final seconds of the game.
"It was really strange being on the other side of the ball from her, but I swear she doesn't miss any shots. So I'm just really glad she's on my team and I get to be her teammate," Clark said. "She obviously makes my life really easy. So I hope that's like the only time in my entire career that she's on the other team. Or the other All-Star Games, I guess I can allow it, but still, I would prefer she's on my side. She's incredible in everything that she does."
