Indiana Pacers 2026 NBA Draft pre-draft workout attendees
The Pacers don't have a pick as of this writing but will do their due diligence.
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers announced their first group of pre-draft workout attendees ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft this week as they finalize official prep for the late-June event.
It will be a unique draft cycle for the blue and gold. Currently, they don't have a pick in the first or second round, and that will almost certainly impact their ability to get certain prospects in the building for interviews and workouts. Even if a to-be rookie who comes to the St Vincent center is unlikely to end up in a Pacers uniform this offseason, getting to know them and see them play in person while they are still not tied to a team is valuable intel for the organization. These workouts are important, even without draft picks.

The Pacers haven't made a selection in the first round since 2023, when they chose both Jarace Walker and Ben Sheppard. Their 2024 first rounder went to the Toronto Raptors as a part of the trade that brought in Pascal Siakam, then the Pacers 2025 first-round selection was dealt to the New Orleans Pelicans to re-acquire their 2026 top pick – and that was later moved to acquire Ivica Zubac.
Along the way, the Pacers have drafted the likes of Johnny Furphy, Tristen Newton, Enrique Freeman, Kam Jones, and Taelon Peter. All that to say: While the team does not currently have a pick in the coming NBA Draft, they could certainly use one to backfill their youth pipeline.
